Community Guidelines

Last updated: March 13, 2026

1. Our Community Values

VeriMint exists to empower AI artists. Our community spans Discord, Twitter/X, Telegram, and beyond. These guidelines apply everywhere you interact under the VeriMint banner — including the content you mint on-chain.

The short version: be respectful, keep it safe for work, follow the rules of whatever platform you're on, and help us build something great together.

2. Treat Everyone with Respect

We're building a community where every creator feels welcome, regardless of their experience level, background, or artistic style. Respect is non-negotiable.

  • Be kind and constructive — critique art, not people. Offer feedback that helps others grow.
  • No harassment or bullying — targeted insults, intimidation, doxxing, or persistent unwanted contact will not be tolerated.
  • No hate speech or discrimination — slurs, bigotry, or content that targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.
  • No threats or incitement — threats of violence, encouragement of self-harm, or calls to harass others are grounds for immediate removal.
  • Respect differing opinions — disagreement is fine; personal attacks are not. Keep discussions civil and on-topic.
  • Welcome newcomers — everyone starts somewhere. Help new members feel at home.

3. Safe-for-Work Content Only

All content shared in VeriMint community spaces and minted through our platform must be safe for work (SFW). This applies to images, profile pictures, usernames, and text.

Prohibited content includes:

  • Nudity and sexual content — explicit, suggestive, or sexually provocative imagery of any kind, including AI-generated content
  • Graphic violence and gore — realistic depictions of extreme violence, mutilation, or torture
  • Hate imagery — symbols, imagery, or content associated with hate groups or extremist ideologies
  • Illegal content — anything depicting or promoting illegal activities, including drug manufacturing, weapons trafficking, or exploitation of minors
  • Shock or disturbing content — imagery designed to disgust, disturb, or traumatize viewers
Content that is minted on-chain is permanent. Think carefully before you mint — if you wouldn't show it in a professional portfolio, it probably doesn't belong on VeriMint.

Gray areas

Artistic depictions of the human form, fantasy violence in clearly fictional contexts, and mature themes handled tastefully may be acceptable on a case-by-case basis. When in doubt, ask a moderator before posting or minting. Our moderation team has final say on what constitutes appropriate content.

4. Respect Platform Terms of Service

VeriMint's community lives across multiple platforms. You must follow the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines of each platform you use in addition to these guidelines.

Platform-specific rules

  • Discord — follow the Discord Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Use channels for their intended purpose. No spam, no raids.
  • Twitter/X — follow the X Terms of Service. Don't use VeriMint-related hashtags or spaces for spam, manipulation, or brigading.
  • Telegram — follow the Telegram Terms of Service. Keep discussions on-topic and respectful in all VeriMint groups.
  • OpenSea and NFT marketplaces — follow each marketplace's content policies. Minted certificates that violate marketplace terms may be delisted by those platforms.
If a platform's rules are stricter than ours, the stricter rule applies. If our rules are stricter, our rules apply. When in doubt, follow the stricter standard.

5. Intellectual Property and Originality

Respect the work of other creators and the tools you use to create.

  • Only mint your own work — do not mint images created by other people, screenshots of others' artwork, or content you don't have the right to certify.
  • Respect AI platform terms — ensure the AI platform you used to generate the image permits commercial use or minting of generated content. VeriMint is not responsible for verifying your rights to the underlying content.
  • No impersonation — do not create collections or certificates that impersonate other artists, brands, or projects.
  • Credit where due — if your work is inspired by or derived from another creator's style, acknowledge it when sharing in community spaces.

6. No Spam, Scams, or Manipulation

  • No spam — don't flood channels with repetitive messages, unsolicited promotions, or off-topic links.
  • No scams or phishing — never share fake links, impersonate team members, or attempt to steal wallet credentials or personal information from other members.
  • No wash trading or market manipulation — artificially inflating certificate prices or mint counts through self-dealing is prohibited.
  • No sybil abuse — creating multiple accounts to farm $VERI rewards, free mints, or referral bonuses violates our Terms of Service and will result in forfeiture of all rewards.
  • No unauthorized bots — do not deploy bots in our community spaces without explicit moderator approval.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

Our moderation team works to keep VeriMint a welcoming space. Here's how we handle violations:

Enforcement actions

  • Verbal warning — for minor or first-time offenses, a moderator will issue a warning and explain the violation.
  • Content removal — offending messages, images, or posts may be removed without notice.
  • Temporary mute or timeout — repeated minor violations may result in temporary restrictions on posting.
  • Ban from community platforms — serious or repeated violations will result in permanent removal from VeriMint community spaces.
  • Account suspension — in severe cases, your VeriMint account may be suspended and accumulated $VERI rewards may be forfeited.
Immediate bans (no warning) apply for: threats of violence, hate speech, sharing NSFW or illegal content, doxxing, scam attempts, and any activity that endangers community members.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you can appeal by contacting us at support@verimintapp.com with your username and a description of the situation. We'll review all appeals fairly, but our moderation team's decisions are final.

8. Reporting Violations

If you see something that violates these guidelines, please report it. You can reach us through:

All reports are reviewed confidentially. We do not disclose who filed a report. Retaliation against anyone who reports a violation in good faith is itself a violation of these guidelines.

9. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines as VeriMint grows. Changes will be announced in our Discord server and posted on this page with an updated date. Continued participation in VeriMint community spaces after changes are announced constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
